Maine Crab Rolls

We like our crab rolls plain here in New England - the flavor of fresh Maine crabmeat predominates, with just a bit of mayonnaise to bind it, and some lettuce to add some crunch. Traditional Maine crab and lobster rolls are served on grilled top-sliced hotdog rolls (also called New England style). They are flat on the sides, which makes it possible to grill them. They might be a bit difficult to find in other parts of the country.

Instructions

  1. Butter both sides of hotdogs rolls
  2. Place rolls on large skillet, grill until light brown (watch them carefully, they burn quickly)
